THE BEACH HOUSE

The Beach House B&B is literally on the back of Chesil Beach heading towards Ceshil Cove from Victoria Square. It is a brief walking distance to Chesil Cove, Portland Marina and Castletown Beach and ideal for individual divers, buddies or groups.

All rooms at the Beach House have tea and coffee facilities, colour TV and free WiFi.

THE AQUA – Hotel, Cafe & Bar

The Aqua is situated in Castletown, in front of the beach and Dive Beyond’s dive boat Jetty. It’s only a short stroll to Chesil Beach, a short walk from Portland Harbour and Portland Castle, also with regular bus services to Portland Bill, Southwell Business Park and Weymouth.

The hotel is well known to the UK diving community and currently offers 25 modern en-suite rooms, most of them with sea views, free Wi-Fi, free parking, a café and a bar. You can choose from a single, twin, double, triple or quad room.

With Dive Beyond situated within the hotel premises the Aqua is an ideal place to stay for diving (or training) out of Castletown. Facilities include meeting rooms, large dining area, cafeteria, bar.

PORTLAND LODGE

The Portland Lodge is a motel style unpretentious B&B on top of the island behind the high-end Portland Heights Hotel.

 

All of its 30 bedrooms have en suite shower rooms and colour TV and contain hospitality trays for tea and coffee making. Wireless broadband Internet access is also available. The building has a 11 ground floor bedrooms, of these 7 have been specifically designed for the physically disabled, one of which is for permanent wheelchair users.
