And you are welcome to join us
Yes... that's right. MD's off to Cyprus in January.
- 4 nights accommodation
- 3 days of diving *on the Zenobia*
- 6 boat dives
- Free use of 12L cylinders
- Free air fills
...all of these for only £320.
|Offering divers depths ranging from 17 to 42 metres, the wreck of the Zenobia ferry that sunk off the Cyprus coast in 1980 is an exceptional dive for all levels of divers.
The Zenobia ranks as one of the top 10 wreck dives in the world since its widely covered sinking in 1980.
Millennium Divers are looking to run an extended weekend trip to dive the Zenobia at the end of January 2011.
If you are interested or know someone who might be, all you need to do for now is let us know so we can get on with the fine-tuning.
The cost for this trip leaving on the 28th January and returning on the 31st is only £320, which covers 4 nights shared accommodation in twin rooms and 6 dives over 3 days. Flights are not included in this package but are between £150-200 (return trip) to and from Larnaca, Cyprus.
For the trip to go ahead and make the necessary arrangements, we will need a minimum of 8 divers to make their bookings. All payments to the club will then have to be made in full, via cheque or cash, by 15.12.2010 the latest.
*For the time being we only need club members or guests who are interested in the trip to inform us without commitment so we can start the arrangements.
Those travelling to Cyprus are required to arrange their own flights (estimated £150-200 return) and airport transport each way.
We will be diving with Dive-In’s Larnaca Centre which only a 10min walk from the main seafront where there are plenty of bars and restaurants for all tastes. Smaller cafes and local kebab shops along with small supermarkets help to support the guests’ every need. The position of the centre was chosen with care as it is only a 3 minute boat ride from the wreck of the Zenobia.
The centre can provide a full range of optional equipment for hire ranging from 12L, 15L and 18L cylinders for DIN or A-clamp fittings to manifolded twin 10s or twin 12s and a full range of stage bottles.
Sofnolime, 2ltr and 3ltr cylinders are also available for CCR divers.
Accommodation is based on two people sharing a twin room but a single upgrade is also available.
