Technical diving is safe and even more fun when the foundations are laid properly. Many of today's active divers and diving professionals recognise the outstanding role Underwater Explorers has played since 2000 in introducing recreational divers to technical diving while using the safest, most robust and streamlined kit configuration.
Our Intro to Tech course introduces recreational divers to the world of technical diving through hands on experience.
The objective of this popular course is to familiarise you with technical gear configurations and advanced diving skills.
SCOPE
- Ideal introduction to technical diving for recreational divers
- Twinset, wings, long hose routing, donation, propulsion techniques
- Includes all *technical* equipment
- Perfect starter for any advanced level training
PREREQUISITES
- Advanced Open Water Diver or Equivalent
- With 25 Open Water Dives

- Includes required diving equipment rental (twinset, wing, regulator(s), proper length hoses etc.)
- Includes 78 page I2T manual and certification fees - wall cert and diver ID
- Total of 2 days including 3 harbour dives

We work with you starting from your current skill level to give you the best introduction to technical diving. The course is also ideal for certified technical divers who want to practice skills to perfection under the supervision of an instructor. Our instructor(s) lead by example on all skills.
WHO CAN ENROLL?

YOU... Any single or twin-tank diver aged 18 years and above with 25 logged dives and at PADI Advanced Open Water Diver or equivalent level can take this course regardless of what equipment configuration they have trained in or are used to.
Our aim is to show you how to improve, cover dive planning methods, practice in-water skills and streamline your gear in a non-pushy and fun learning environment. After that you can decide whether technical diving is for you.
