Advanced Nitrox

tdilogo01The objective of this course is to train divers in the benefits, hazards and proper procedures for utilizing EAN-21% through 100% oxygen for dives not requiring staged decompression to a depth of 40m. All of our training dives are conducted in sea conditions using hard boats.

The course is normally run over 3 days. The first day is dedicated to academics and the remaining two days are purely for diving. 4 training dives are required with a minimum accumulated bottom time of 100 minutes.

tdi.adv.nitroxThe course fee includes all Instructor expenses, TDI Advanced Nitrox Manual and TDI certification fees. If extra training dives are required a separate fee will be charged. Boat fees and gas fills are not included.

Together with TDI Decompression Procedures course the candidate would meet the pre-requisites for TDI Trimix course.

Candidate Pre-Requisites:

  • Minimum age of 18
  • Basic nitrox certification (any agency)
  • Proof of 25 logged open water dives

Underwater Explorers also requires candidates to be familiar with the equipment they will be using during the course. For those who wish to do the course in a twin-set but have never used one … start by looking at the Intro-to-Twins programme.
