Why
PADI
Rescue
Diver?
This
three to
four day
course will
expand
your
knowledge
and
experience
beyond
purely
recreational
level
because
you'll
learn
to
look
beyond
yourself

consider

divers.
Although
this
course

serious,
it
is
an
enjoyable
way
to
build
your
confidence.
The
PADI
Rescue
Diver
certification
is a
prerequisite
for
all
professional
level PADI
courses
like
PADI
Divemaster
as well
as the
highly
sought
after
PADI
Master
Scuba
Diver
rating.
What
do I
need
to
start?
PADI
Advanced Open Water Diver or PADI Junior Advanced Open Water Diver certification
with
20
logged
dives.
Successful completion of a sanctioned CPR program within the past 24 months
(see
Emergency
First
Response).
Minimum age: 15 years old (12 for PADI Junior Rescue Diver)

one-day
medic
first
aid
course
trains
you
in
first
aid
and
CPR,
and
meets
an
important
prerequisite
for
the
PADI
Rescue
Diver
certifications.
After
the
Emergency
First
Aid
Primary
Care
course
you’ll
be
able
to
apply
your
first
aid
and
CPR
skills
to
the
unique
needs
of
diving
and
by
the
time
you
finish
the
Rescue
Diver
course,
you’ll
be a
qualified
First-Responder,
whether
an
accident
occurs
in
or
out
of
the
water.
This
course
also
meets
the
HSE
requirements
for
Appointed
Person
in a
workplace.
