Where can I go from here?
PADI Advanced Open Water
Divers at least 15 years of
age can enroll in PADI Wreck
or Deep Diver Specialty
courses and continue on to
the PADI Rescue Diver or
Junior Rescue Diver course.
PADI Adventure Dives can
also credit towards the
corresponding PADI Specialty
Diver certifications.
PADI Enriched Air Nitrox Diver
All
instructors at Underwater Explorers are (Oxygen)
Enriched Air or Nitrox divers and instructors.
Underwater Explorers has taken a leading role in the
national diving industry promoting nitrox diving for
longer no-decompression limits and even higher
safety margins (when used on air tables). Most of
our instructors are also competent and
experienced mixed-gas (trimix) divers. This makes us
a centre with a difference.
Why PADI Enriched
Air Diver?
By diving with
enriched air
(Nitrox) rather
than standard air
you can extend your
no decompression
limits. This means
more time
underwater. For
example, if you dive
to 15 metres/50 feet
on air, your no
decompression limit
is 80 minutes. But,
diving on EANx36
gets you 220 minutes
of no decompression
time - an increase
of 140 minutes.
