PADI Advanced Open Water Diver

& PADI Adventure Diver
Its fun, adventures and educating!

PADI Adventure Diver Programme can be completed in just one day with three dives from different fields. This is ideal if you have a busy schedule or just want to have a taster of PADI specialties.

The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course includes five dives over two days. As part of the programme you would be doing two core dives from PADI specialties: deep and navigation as well as three elective dives like wreck, drift, nitrox or peak performance buoyancy.

With us, you will train with professional and active divers who dive all year round in the fields they teach -- and often dive under even more challenging conditions.

Once on the course, you’ll find yourself in a friendly, non-pushy, informal atmosphere becoming part of our own diving team. Underwater Explorers instructors excel in training and our courses are more than about just a certification. See our Team.

Add Nitrox to your course

...now for only £80 extra

Extend the amount of no-decompression time you can spend underwater or dive conservatively using nitrox and do it straight on during your Advanced Open Water or Adventure Diver Course.

Its only an additional day or half for some Nitrox theory. Two of your course dives will be counted towards the Nitrox course and will qualify you as a PADI Nitrox Diver. READ MORE.

PADI Enriched Air Nitrox Diver

ImageAll instructors at Underwater Explorers are (Oxygen) Enriched Air or Nitrox divers and instructors. Underwater Explorers has taken a leading role in the national diving industry promoting nitrox diving for longer no-decompression limits and even higher safety margins (when used on air tables). Most of our instructors are also competent and  experienced mixed-gas (trimix) divers. This makes us a centre with a difference.

Why PADI Enriched Air Diver?
By diving with enriched air (Nitrox) rather than standard air you can extend your no decompression limits. This means more time underwater. For example, if you dive to 15 metres/50 feet on air, your no decompression limit is 80 minutes. But, diving on EANx36 gets you 220 minutes of no decompression time - an increase of 140 minutes. Read the NITROX FAQ file for more information

What do I need to start?
Be a PADI Open Water Diver certification (or qualifying certification from another organization). Minimum age: 15 years

What will I do?
The PADI Enriched Air Diver Specialty certification emphasizes the theoretical and operational considerations involved with enriched air diving. The course includes day of academics followed by optional two dives.

How long will it take?
One or two days depending if you have opted for the dives. If linked with Advanced Open Water or other PADI Specialty courses you only need one extra day on top of linked course days.
