Our recognised status as a GUE Dive Dentre guarantees divers from around the world a GUE-DIR friendly atmosphere, trained and understanding staff, access to premium quality equipment, training and services that meet GUE standards.

Underwater Explorers offers the following GUE courses:

As a diving centre that has played a key role in the development of the Global Underwater Explorers ethos in Britain,  Underwater Explorers  is happy to continue with its part in expanding the GUE diving community in the United Kingdom and in particular to support the broader goals of GUE as a global organisation through expeditions, exploration, training and club activities.

GUE courses by UE resident instructor Dr. Graham Blackmore

Formerly based in the Philippines as a GUE Tech 1 Instructor, Graham conducts GUE courses ranging from Fundamentals to Rec 1, Tech 1 and DPV 1 while also offering individual and group coaching as well as the GUE Primer programme.

Graham's presence on the South Coast and working as a resident instructor out of the UK's first and only GUE facility promises  recreational and technical sea divers at all levels --and from any agency-- direct access to Global Underwater Explorers training, diving and philosophy.

Weekend, week day and evening courses are being scheduled for every month but one-to-one and group tuition on mutually arranged dates will also be available.

Courses can also be conducted at your own location if you have a dive team or are a diving club (BSAC, PADI and SAA). Courses or course dives can also be conducted at inland dive sites due to any adverse weather conditions at sea.

See what GUE is all about:

Poor diving skills and inefficient equipment often result in unnecessary exertion, stress, degradation of the dive site, and thus less enjoyment. GUE’s vibrant history includes both recreational excursions and aggressive exploration diving. This experience has led GUE and likeminded divers around the world to embrace the need for greater diving proficiency. These enhanced skills provide greater enjoyment and less stress while also preserving fragile diving environments.
