Underwater Explorers was born out of the need to combine traditional diving knowledge and experience with contemporary theory and superb cutting edge equipment.
We believe in the global concept of “Less is More” in diving, characterised in a modern and refined approach to streamlined, safe and simple kit configuration, using non-narcotic gases, a lot of practice and Team Work.

From free equipment try out dives and Halcyon scooter workshops to GUE surface and underwater workshops, special Sentinel rebreather sessions and dives… to first-hand accounts and updates from world-leading expeditions, this year’s two-day Millennium Dive Fest in Portland, Dorset offers something for everyone.
All surface workshops during the Fest including the GUE, Scooter and dry Sentinel Rebreather sessions are Free of Charge but will be subject to available number of seats. Halcyon scooter + GUE dives and equipment try-out dives will be organized on a first-booked, first-served basis. Discounted boat fees apply for all boat diving where dives are involved.

NEW Helitrox Course now available!
The TDI Helitrox Diver course focuses on the theory, methods and procedures for planned stage decompression diving utilizing Helium with no greater than 20% helium content in the breathing mixture. The program is designed as a stand-alone course or it may be taught in conjunction with TDI Advanced Nitrox. The objective of this course is to train divers how to plan and conduct a standard staged decompression dive not exceeding a maximum depth of 45m. UK’s first… GUE Dive Centre

We at Underwater Explorers are pleased to announce we have achieved official GUE Dive Centre status. We are the first in the UK and hoping this will lead the way for others to follow.
This official status guarantees divers access to premium quality equipment, training and services that meet GUE standards. As a GUE Dive Centre Underwater Explorers also seek to expand the GUE diving community and support the broader goals of the organisation through training and club activities.
